Ian Cousins

Ian Cousins - Gold FM

Ian Cousins is General Manager Sales Gold Coast Media Centre 90.9 Sea Fm, 92.5 Gold FM and Southern Cross 10 television.

Born in Rockhampton, Ian came to the Gold Coast in 1971, working at the original 4GG until 1985 as Assistant General Manager. In 1986 he was appointed General Manager of Radio 97 (formerly 2MW) at Tweed Heads.

During his time on the Gold Coast, Ian has served on the Board of the Gold Coast Tourism Bureau, The South Coast Fire Brigade as a Government-appointed member, the Gold Coast liaison committee for the Commonwealth Games, three years as President of the Gold Coast Media Club, immediate past Chairman of the Gold Coast Community Fund, currently Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Indy EAC (events advisory committee), and eleven years as President of the GCBEA.
